Grants for sport based projects

Lots of Sport Clubs are unaware of the funding opportunities available at the moment. Whether you are looking to upgrade facilities, deliver programmes to the community or upskill volunteers, there are a number of possibilities.

Here are a selection of grants that are available to Sports Clubs.

Peter Harrison Foundation

Up to £30k to for projects that enable people across the UK who are physically, mentally, socially or economically disadvantaged to develop personal and life skills to fulfil their potential.

Hargreaves Foundation

Applications are open for organisations seeking funding to support those under the age of 18, and living with a mental health problem, physical disability or growing up in poverty through the mediums of sport and education. (Must be a charity)

Awards for All

Up to £20k over 2 years for projects that benefit yout community

Sport England

Up to £15k to support project that develop opportunities for communities to get more people physically active

Wooden Spoon Society

Projects must fall within Wooden Spoon’s Vision Statement: “Through the power of rugby, every child and young person has access to the best life opportunities, no matter what their background”

Children Alliance

Up to £15k for projects that give essential life skills and build children’s confidence and resilience, both physically and emotionally through water-based activities.
