Role Overview
We are looking for a Fundraising Consultant to join our team as part of an ambitious growth plan. This role is dedicated to supporting charities and helping them secure grant funding. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in guiding charities through the grant application process, ensuring they find suitable funding opportunities, develop strong projects, and submit high-quality applications.
This role will involve:
- Helping charities find relevant grants and funding opportunities
- Onboarding and supporting charities through the grant application process
- Reviewing and improving grants written by our AI
- Providing strategic support to maximise charities’ chances of success
- Acting as the first point of contact for client support
Key Responsibilities
Client Support & Management
- Onboard new clients, guiding them through the grant discovery and application process
- Act as the first line of support, answering queries and offering bid-related advice
- Help charities develop fundable projects that align with funder priorities
- Maintain strong relationships with clients to improve engagement and retention
Grant Research & Development
- Identify and recommend relevant grant opportunities for charities using our Ai powered technology
- Conduct detailed research on funding criteria, eligibility, and sector-specific requirements
- Track bid progress and maintain organised records of applications and outcomes
Bid Review & Improvement
- Review and edit AI-generated grant applications to enhance clarity, coherence, and impact
- Provide strategic bid writing support to increase charities’ chances of success
- Offer feedback and guidance to charities on their applications
Sector & Industry Awareness
- Stay up to date with funding trends, grant opportunities, and sector developments
- Work closely with the team to refine Fundin’s grant consulting approach and methodologies
Requirements
- Proven experience in grant writing, fundraising, or nonprofit consultancy
- Strong research skills and the ability to quickly understand and interpret complex information
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a client-focused approach
- Ability to manage multiple clients simultaneously and provide strategic support
- Highly organised with a proactive and detail-oriented mindset
- Experience supporting charities with grant funding is essential
- Remote but must be able to work in the Leeds office at least one days per month
