Week 50 Funding Update
Here is a roundup of some of the latest opportunities.
- General Grants. £2k available for funding a project or activity.
- Burton Wold Community Wind Farm Fund. £5k to support a variety of educational, environmental, charitable and general community amenity projects
- Communities And Collections Fund – Partnership Project Grants. £100k to support museums and their community partners to develop together, using collections.
- Women & Girls Fund. £1k to support the work of voluntary, community and social enterprise organisations that are delivering work to support local women and girls in need.
- Yelvertoft Wind Farm Community Benefit Fund. £20k support a range of charitable, educational, environmental and general community amenity projects.
- Social & Emotional Wellbeing Needs Grants. £50k to improve public wellbeing
- Sports Grants. £1k to support young people in sport.
- Landfill Disposals Tax Communities Scheme. £250k to improve the local environment.
- Winwick Wind Farm Community Benefit Fund. £5k support a range of charitable, educational, environmental and general community amenity projects.
- Community Project Fund. £2k to support the delivery of projects and activities that benefit the local community and meet the council’s priorities.
- Hardship And Access Grants. £100 to offer small hardship and access grants for those who, due to unexpected hardship, need a small amount of financial aid to help complete a programme of study or to help overcome issues of access.
- The Women’s Fund. £7k to voluntary and community groups that run successful women-only projects.
- Focus Foundation. £8k to make a positive and lasting difference to people’s lives.
- Ogden Trust Senior – Teacher Fellowships Programme. £2k to schools for a (science) teacher’s timetable release and support project costs so teachers can deliver initiatives that bring the wonder of physics to a wider audience or support other teachers to develop their teaching practice.
- Energy Grant For Third Sector Organisations. £500 for ‘community hubs’ – a building or space that provides activities or services to the local community.
- Community Recovery Fund. £15k to support Birmingham communities impacted by the public disorder that took place between July and August 2024.
- Mcphillips Community Fund. £5k to support innovative projects, services, and initiatives that empower people to improve their mental health, reduce social isolation, and promote long-term well-being.
- Richmond Upon Thames Voluntary Fund. £50k to support projects which improve children and young people’s wellbeing.
- Community Partnering Fund. £10k to support organisations to help alleviate hardship associated with fuel poverty, promote energy efficiency, raise awareness of the Priority Services Register (PSR) and highlight the risks of carbon monoxide (CO) poisoning, from faulty or poorly maintained gas appliances.
- Let’s Talk Cancer & Raise Awareness Funding. £20kto raise awareness of cancer to highlight early detection, signs and symptoms and importance of screening.
- Baobab Community Fund. £150k to support Black African/Caribbean and Global Majority communities in the United Kingdom
- Black And Global Majority: Innovate And Sustain Fund. £30k to support Black and Global Majority led organisations who are working for the health and wellbeing of their communities.
- Internet Freedom Fund. £900k to support innovative global internet freedom projects.
