About the Fund
This grant supports small-scale UK-based projects by charities, social enterprises and grassroots community organisations that promote sustainable development, conservation of nature, biodiversity, and community engagement with the environment.
Eligibility
- UK-based organisations (charities, voluntary organisations, social enterprises, community groups, businesses) with appropriate legal status.
- Not open to individuals.
- Must have a website or social media presence (so the Trust can promote the project) unless alternative publicity is possible.
Grant Details
- Grants up to about £5,000 per project.
- Funding windows three times a year.
- Projects must be UK‐based, and successful applicants must meet conditions including publicity and submitting a photo/press release.
- Projects are to align with a specified thematic window (e.g., biodiversity, nature connection)
How to apply
- Applications must be made via the Trust’s online application form (details on the website).
- Provide required documentation: project description, budget, maybe supporting materials (photos, campaign assets).
- Submit within the relevant funding window (e.g., by end of February, June, October)
