About the Fund
The Skills and Learning grant by SNG (Sovereign Network Group) provides funding between £1000 and £5000 to local groups supporting SNG customers to learn, develop, and thrive.
Priority areas for 2025/26 include:
• Community digital support
• Family learning
• Financial skills and resilience (excluding one-to-one debt advice)
• Food education
Eligibility
Priority given to projects showing clear objectives, outcomes, and long-lasting community impact, especially supporting diverse, marginalised, or vulnerable groups.
121 debt advice is not funded.
Grant Details
- Grants between £1,000 and £5,000
- Groups eligible to receive one Thriving Communities grant per financial year
- All eligible projects reviewed by grants panel to decide which will receive funding
- May contact applicants by email to request additional information before panel meeting
- Before payment issued, must complete all necessary checks regarding permissions, policies, and insurance
- Successful applicants must acknowledge financial support of SNG in documentation and publicity material
