The Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) is offering up to £125,000 through its stream of the Men’s Health Community Fund — a joint programme with Movember and People’s Health Trust supporting the Men’s Health Strategy for England. The Round 1 application deadline is 15 July 2026.
About the Department of Health and Social Care
DHSC leads health and social care policy in England. This fund forms part of the government’s Men’s Health Strategy, investing in preventative community-based approaches to reduce men’s health inequalities, particularly for unemployed and economically inactive men aged 35–59 and older men (60+) facing key life transitions.
What the Fund Supports
DHSC is targeting two cohorts where health risks are particularly pronounced:
- Men aged 35–59 who are unemployed, economically inactive, or facing economic precarity
- Older men (60+) experiencing key life transitions such as retirement, bereavement, or relationship breakdown

Up to £125,000 over 18 months for exploratory-phase projects, with DHSC investing up to £3 million through this funding stream. Only one application per organisation is permitted.
