About the Fund
Lloyd’s Register Foundation Small Grants scheme offers grants up to £10,000. This small-grants programme is designed to support early-stage projects, pilots or innovations aligned with the Foundation’s mission of engineering a safer world.
Exclusions include work outside the Foundation’s mission, individual-benefit activities, conservation of historic vessels, naval history only, capital works, educational fees, retrospective funding, lobbying, campaigning, business/first-class travel, and core equipment (specialist equipment may be considered case by case).
- Increased testing and proof-of-concept of new ideas for safety systems or practices.
- Broader dissemination and knowledge-exchange around safety, infrastructure, heritage or engineering fields.
Eligibility
Organisations must ensure that their project aligns with the Foundation’s mission (safety, infrastructure, maritime, engineering) and the particular call’s focus.
Grant Details
Grants support projects initiating or building partnerships in heritage, maritime, and public sectors that align with the Foundation’s charitable mission, focusing on future collaborations, knowledge exchange, or impact acceleration.
