The THINC Fund is offering six unrestricted grants of £3,000 to not-for-profit organisations in Lambeth and Southwark through a free-to-enter lottery draw. Every eligible applicant gets one entry, with winners selected at random — applications close 12 July 2026 and the live draw takes place on 16 July.

About the THINC Fund

The THINC Fund (Tackling Health Inequalities through Neighbourhood Collaboration) is a programme run by Clearview Research (CVR Community) and supported by Impact on Urban Health. Rather than competitive pitch nights or public votes, this round uses a randomised draw — giving all eligible organisations an equal chance of winning. Three grants will be awarded in Lambeth and three in Southwark.

What the Fund Supports

The fund focuses on mental health and wellbeing and access to healthy choices for priority communities in Lambeth and Southwark. Funded activities must benefit at least one priority group, including people with disabilities, those experiencing homelessness, ethnic minority communities, people on low incomes, LGBTQ+ communities, young people in or leaving care, and unpaid carers.

  • Mental health and wellbeing programmes
  • Projects improving access to healthy food, exercise, or lifestyle choices
  • Activities targeting priority communities facing health inequalities
  • Core operating costs and project delivery costs (unrestricted)

How Much Funding Is Available

Six grants of £3,000 each — three for organisations in Lambeth and three in Southwark. Funding is unrestricted and can cover project or essential operating costs. Grants support activity between the award date (anticipated July 2026) and 31 March 2027.

Annual income must be under £500,000 and at least 50% of the people you serve must be local residents. For-profit organisations and CICs limited by shares are not eligible.
