Suicide Prevention Small Grants

Up to £10k available from the partnership between Leeds Community Foundation and Public Health which aims to fund local third sector community initiatives to support people at risk of suicide. The fund aims to support social activities determined by local participants and to provide outreach work with targeted communities to reduce social isolation and promote protective factors for wellbeing.

Key information 

• We encourage applications from under-served and/or under-represented communities across all our funding opportunities
• Work to address risk factors for suicide or work targeted towards population groups at risk of suicide as identified nationally Suicide Prevention Strategy for England (2023-2028) and/or locally Leeds Suicide Audit (2019-2021)
• Applicants can be based outside of Leeds but must demonstrate strong links to Leeds and the communities/participants they hope to work with within Leeds
• The amount requested should be at least 50% of the total cost of the activity

• Only one application per organisation can be considered
