Imagine combining industry‑leading technology with experienced professional bid writers.
For many charities and nonprofits, grant funding isn’t just about finding opportunities. It’s about having the time, expertise, and consistency to turn those opportunities into successful applications. That’s where most organisations get stuck and where our Managed Service steps in.
Why a Managed Grant Service Is Needed
Applying for grants is deceptively complex.
On paper, it looks simple: find a funder, write an application, submit it. In reality, organisations face:
- Limited internal capacity to keep up with deadlines
- Unclear or under‑developed project ideas
- Difficulty knowing which grants are actually a good fit
- Applications rushed at the last minute
- Missed opportunities due to lack of time or confidence
Even strong organisations with great impact lose out on funding every year, not because they aren’t fundable, but because the process is fragmented and time‑consuming.
Fundin’s Managed Service exists to remove those blockers entirely.
Ai + expert bid writers
AI is an incredibly powerful tool when it’s used in the right way.
Many of Fundin’s 5,000+ users successfully use our platform to manage and draft grants themselves by combining AI with their own internal knowledge. For organisations with the time and capacity, this hybrid approach works brilliantly.
But we also know that not every organisation wants to be hands-on.
Some teams would rather remove grant funding from their mental load entirely. No juggling deadlines, no second-guessing drafts, no half-finished applications sitting in the background.
That’s where the Managed Service comes in.
You still have all the benefits of Ai but with a professional bid writer guiding, reviewing, and managing the process end to end.
We keep your applications ticking over in the background, while you focus on running your organisation.
The result is a service that’s proactive, consistent, and built around long‑term funding success.
How the Managed Service Works
Getting started is deliberately simple but the process behind the scenes is powerful and structured.
Here’s exactly how your applications are created and submitted:
- You’re matched with a bid writer
We pair you with a bid writer who has experience in your sector and understands the language funders expect, the outcomes they prioritise, and the common pitfalls to avoid. - Guided Onboarding
You provide key details about your organisation, projects, and impact inside Fundin and help your bid writer understand what you do. - We select the best-fit grants
Using Fundin’s technology and your bid writer’s expertise, we identify grants that genuinely align with your work not just anything you could apply for. - AI drafts version one
Fundin’s AI creates a first draft of the application, tailored to the funder’s criteria and based entirely on your information. - Your bid writer reviews and enhances it
An experienced bid writer refines the draft, strengthens the narrative, sharpens the outcomes, and ensures the application is funder-ready. - You complete the final review
You review the application, request changes if needed, and give final approval. You stay in control without doing the heavy lifting. - We submit on your behalf
Once approved, we submit the application and track it for you.
Everything is visible, structured, and managed without endless back-and-forth.
In practical terms, each grant takes around five minutes of your time while we handle everything else.
What This Means for You
With Fundin’s Managed Service, you get:
- A dedicated bid writer who knows your organisation
- A clear funding pipeline that’s actively managed
- No more missed deadlines or last‑minute scrambles
- Confidence that applications are being submitted at a high standard
Most importantly, you get your time back so you can focus on delivering impact, not paperwork.
Proven Results
We don’t just write applications, we deliver measurable results.
- ROI between 15x and 52x
- Every organisation has achieved positive ROI
- Average time required from you per grant: under 10 minutes
For most organisations, a single successful mid-sized grant covers an entire year of the service.
Designed for Quality, Not Volume
To make sure every organisation gets the attention it deserves, we intentionally limit the number of organisations that can join the Managed Service each month to just 5.
This allows our bid writers to work closely with each client, fully understand their work, and maintain the level of quality that successful funding depends on.
We are constantly oversubscribed and allocate places on a first come, first serve basis. There is more on our process to get started at the bottom of this page.
Is this the right fit for you?
The Managed Service isn’t designed for everyone and that’s intentional.
It works best for organisations that are:
- Looking for ongoing support, rather than one-off applications
- Keen to work with a dedicated bid writer who understands their organisation and sector
- Willing to commit for a minimum of three months, to allow time for momentum and results to build
- Able to invest £499 per month in outsourced grant support
If not, Fundin’s self-serve tools may be a better option. Many organisations successfully use this to manage their own funding in-house.
Geting Started
We only take on a very limited number of new organisations every month.

Frequently Asked Questions
How long does onboarding take?
Onboarding speed is largely dependent on how quickly key information is provided.
Some organisations are fully onboarded within a couple of days. Others may take longer if documents, financials or project details need to be gathered.
Our operations manager, Elise, guides you through the entire process to make this as smooth as possible.
Can you create projects for us?
We can guide you and suggest project ideas based on our experience of what funders are currently prioritising.
However, the final project details must come from you, as your team will ultimately be delivering the work.
Can you apply for capital and core funding too?
Yes. We support revenue, capital and core funding applications, depending on your organisation’s needs and eligibility.
Can I apply for tenders as well?
Yes. We have pricing options that cover both grants and tenders, allowing us to support your full bid writing strategy.
Will I get a dedicated bid writer and can I contact them?
Yes.
You will initially be guided through onboarding by our Operations Manager, Elise. Once fully set up, she will match you with a dedicated bid writer based on sector experience and skill set.
