About Greenham Trust
Founded in 1997, Greenham Trust is a unique social investment and development charity that has distributed over £85 million to more than 5,000 local organisations. The Trust generates income through property investments at Greenham Business Park and reinvests those returns into charitable causes across West Berkshire and North Hampshire.
What the Fund Supports
Greenham Trust funds a wide range of charitable activities through several committees, including community development, arts and heritage, sport and recreation, health and wellbeing, nature conservation, and support for disadvantaged groups. Specific programmes include the Youth Distribution Committee (awards made by local school pupils) and the Tenant Distribution Committee (funded by Business Park tenants).

The Youth Distribution Committee awards up to £1,500 per project, and the Tenant Distribution Committee distributes up to £150,000 annually. A Trust Top Up scheme doubles eligible public donations up to £5,000 per application.
Who Is Eligible
Applications are open to charitable organisations and community groups serving West Berkshire or neighbouring ward areas of North Hampshire. Peter Baker Grants are available within a 20-mile radius of Market Place, Newbury. The Trust does not fund core statutory education, school trips, projects that have already taken place, or organisations proselytising religion.

All applications must be submitted through The Good Exchange online platform. You will need to register your organisation, upload accounts and bank details, and provide detailed cost breakdowns. Grant committees meet every 6–8 weeks and applications can be submitted at any time.
