Rosa’s Stand With Us Fund provides grants to women’s and girls’ organisations delivering frontline services addressing violence against women and girls across the UK.
The fund was established to address the chronic underfunding of organisations supporting women and girls affected by male violence and abuse, helping organisations strengthen their long-term sustainability, leadership and impact.
About Rosa’s Stand With Us Fund
The Stand With Us Fund was originally created using funds raised by Reclaim These Streets following the murder of Sarah Everard by a serving Metropolitan Police Officer.
Managed by Rosa — the UK’s first women and girls’ fund — the programme exists to help create a safer future for women and girls by investing directly in frontline organisations tackling violence against women and girls (VAWG).
Rather than funding direct service delivery alone, the fund focuses on organisational development, helping charities and community organisations become stronger, more resilient and more influential.
The programme aims to help organisations survive, thrive and grow for the future.
How Much Funding Is Available
Organisations can apply for grants of up to £28,000.
Funding is available for organisational development work, including:
- Strategy development
- Governance improvements
- Leadership development
- Fundraising capacity
- Building partnerships and alliances
- Strengthening organisational systems and processes
- Impact measurement and evaluation
- Developing a stronger voice within the women’s movement
- Additional staffing capacity or senior staff backfill
The fund is designed to support long-term organisational resilience rather than simply covering existing operational costs.
