About the Fund
The Strengthening Place grant by Sovereign Network Group (SNG) is part of the Thriving Communities Fund aimed at improving customer wellbeing and developing thriving, resilient communities through place-based grants.
The fund is for projects that understand and complement existing local provisions, address gaps, work in partnership, and create lasting community impact.
It encourages support for diverse, marginalised, or vulnerable groups, focusing on youth and ageing well.
Priorities include:
• Community safety
• Environment and sustainability (nature recovery, climate action)
• Health, wellbeing, and social inclusion (mental health, prevention, inclusion, community cohesion)
Eligibility
Not for profit, Registered charities, CIO’s, CIC’s limited by guarantee, Community and voluntary groups. Must engage with and benefit Sovereign Network Group (SNG) customers in target regions.
Grant Details
Funding between £1,000 and £7,500.
Fund remains open until 30January 2026 with panel reviews in August, October, and February 2026.
